Catalina Island had always been In my bucket list of places to visit. It’s only 22 miles from California’s coast and only a cruise away. Asher and I first began our relationship on the 4th of July, so for anniversary we decided we wanted to watch this years fire works on Catalina.

We stayed on Catalina for about a week but we first started our trip in Avalon. When we first arrived to avalon, we were hungry to we eat pizza for lunch. We walked around while we waited for our boat to where we were staying which was Two Harbors. While we walked Avalon I was thinking to myself while its took me so long to visit this beautiful island that is only minutes from home.

When we took the boat to Two Harbors we got to see most of Catalina’s coast. From afar you were able to see beatiful coastal houses, cabanas, and lots of boats.

We stayed in Two Harbors Campground overlooking the beach. Every sunrise and sunset was special specially the one on the 4th of July. As the sun set that evening we overlooked at the ocean and from across we ere able to watch thousand of fireworks go off from California coast. They sparkled and shined bright almost like stars.  Asher loves a challenge so we did two days of hiking and got every view the island has to offer. We also went kayaking and saw some seals and lots of Garibaldi

Asher loves a challenge so we did two days of hiking and got every view the island has to offer. We also went kayaking and saw some seals and lots of Garibaldi. Almost anywhere you go on the island you can see the Garibaldi fish through the islands trasparent water.

On our last day we went back to Avalon and enjoyed some fine food, music, and scenery.
