Spring has always been my favorite season of the year. Although California is known for being a dry state, 2019 received big amount of rain. Due too so much rain I knew this spring was going to be one to remember.

Mid March the super bloom was at the begging of its blooming peak. Not far from our home, is Walker Canyon Road so every time i drove by the freeway I would see the hills that seemed like they were out of a painting.  Asher and I both thought it would be fun to to take a hike so that exactly what we did.

It took us approxamtly three hours to get on Walker Canyon Road. People were visiting from all over the place. The week after we visited the City of Elsinore closed the trail to the public. We were very lucky to have gone when we went.

Its no wonder that poppies are California’s state flower. They grow all throughout the state and have a vibrant orange color to them.

Asher took most of the photography so he takes all the credit for the breath taking pictures.
